STORM VS GIANTS THIS SUNDAY – ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW

MANCHESTER STORM VS BELFAST GIANTS  – LEAGUE FIXTURE – SUNDAY 19TH NOVEMBER 2023 @ 5.30PM – PLANET ICE ALTRINCHAM

Following our second sold out fixture of the season Manchester Storm are back in action Sunday 19th November taking on Belfast Giants inside the Storm Shelter. Head Coach Matt Ginn and the squad are currently joint third in the EIHL standings and will be looking to pick up valuable league points whilst gaining some revenge on Belfast following the defeat just a matter of weeks ago.

This is certainly a big test for the team and an important fixture, Belfast sit just behind Manchester in the standings and remain 2 points behind – but have 1 game ‘in hand’.

Just one more home fixture remains in the month of November – don’t miss it!

TICKET UPDATE: Over 1,100 tickets sold at time of writing.

NEXT HOME GAME: Tickets for our Elite League fixture on Sunday 19th November 2023 are available online HERE, by calling 0161-926-8782 or in person at the Planet Ice Box Office! Doors open 4.30PM for a 5.30PM start.

AS IT STANDS

It was mixed emotions once again for The Storm as a hard fought battle in Cardiff on Friday evening resulted in a very narrow loss in overtime – still an important point gained in the league campaign. Saturday evening saw the clubs second SOLD OUT fixture of the season but sadly the squad lost out to a strong Sheffield Steelers side with our Challenge Cup fate yet to be decided. Head Coach Matt Ginn will no doubt be frustrated with the display in front of another strong crowd and will be looking to finish Novembers home campaign in style with a win.
