Manchester Storm vs Sheffield Steelers – Wednesday 31st August 2022 @19:30 – Planet Ice Altrincham

The Sheffield Steelers visit the Storm Shelter for mid-week preseason action this evening. Doors open at 6.30PM, for a 7.30PM start. Tickets available online HERE

Last weekend saw Storm and Devils in back-to-back games. Sunday’s home fixture went to overtime after a thrilling 60 minutes and fantastic effort from Manchester. Cox scored in the final few minutes for the Devils, the final result 2-3. Manchester narrowly missed out on victory in their return to the Storm Shelter but Head Coach Matt Ginn will certainly be pleased with the display in just their second pre-season outing.

Preseason Fixtures – Dates For Your Diary

It’s game week and preparations are underway in the Storm Shelter, as Manchester Storm meet with Sheffield Steelers this Wednesday. Doors open 18:30 for a 19:30 start. 

Manchester then meet back on home ice against Guildford Flames on Saturday 3rd September. Doors open at 18:00 for a 19:00 faceoff.

The 2022/23 ‘new look’ squad

There have been various changes ahead of the new season. Matt Ginn is now overseeing the team as head coach, while former captain, Dallas Ehrhardt has taken up the role of assistant coach. Entering his fourth year with the club, Cameron Critchlow has been awarded captain status. Ryan Finnerty stepped down from his coaching position and is now General Manager of the club.
