When Storm and Steelers met for the first leg of the Semi Finals on Tuesday, fans were given a nine goal thriller.
Fortier was impressive claiming a hat-trick across the first and second period and Lundell Noer scored Storm’s fourth goal.
In order to make the Elite Series finals, Storm need to overturn a one goal difference against the Steelers at 7pm on Thursday (28th April).
The Nottingham Panthers await either Manchester Storm or Sheffield Steelers in the final.
EIHL Semi Final rules: If both teams are tied on aggregate after 60 minutes of play there will be 10 minutes of 3-on-3 sudden death overtime. If no team score, it goes to five shot shootout, before eventually going to sudden death shootout reversed order if required.
