MANCHESTER STORM VS NOTTINGHAM PANTHERS  – SATURDAY 28TH JANUARY 2023 @ 19:00 – PLANET ICE ALTRINCHAM

Manchester, just NINE league games remain at home for the Storm this season. Join us inside the Storm Shelter this Saturday as the battle for sixth in the standings continues!

Following Saturday’s fixture, Storm will travel to Scotland to face Fife Flyers on Sunday evening.

Manchester Storm currently sit in 7th place in the EIHL and points against Nottingham Panthers (6th) and Fife Flyers (9th) this weekend will prove crucial. There are just four points sitting between Manchester and Nottingham.

It’s expected to be another busy fixture so order your tickets in advance. However, the Planet Ice Box Office will be open for walk ins, with doors opening at 6PM.

TEAM NEWS

Manchester, it’s with great regret that we must inform you #18 Ryan Barrows season has come to a premature end with surgery looking likely for the talented forward.

We will keep you informed of Ryans progress and recovery over the coming weeks and the club would like to thank Ryan for his efforts in a Manchester jersey this season.

It’s been a busy week for physio Tom Broadfoot, but on a more positive note the club are confident forward Jesper Ohrvall and Captain Cam Critchlow will see action on Saturday. Both men remain day to day and will be game time decisions but are recovering well from their injuries.

Jake Bricknell remains sidelined for the upcoming weekend of fixtures.

LAST TIME OUT

Manchester secured a win at home last Saturday against Dundee Stars. The annual Pride fixture saw a late comeback from Stars against a short-benched Storm side and a big crowd. However, Manchester claimed the win 5-4 with goals from Johnson, Fawcett and DeLuca x2. Newly signed Tyler Barrow also scored his debut goal in front of a packed out Storm Shelter.
