STORM FORECAST – Storm vs Sheffield Steelers | The Ultimate Storm Preview

January ends as it began with a visit from Sheffield Steelers and probably quite the way to kick off what will be another drama-filled weekend of Elite League action.

The teams only played each other last week so memories will be fresh from the encounter in the Utilita Arena, but it’s another fresh chance to claim some much needed points.

Tickets are almost gone – at least they were at the time of writing – so the only other place to see the game unless you’re coming to the Storm Shelter is on our live webcast, available to purchase now.

Face off is at 7:00pm, with doors opening for season tickets holders at 5:45pm then for everyone else at 6:00pm.

NEXT IN THE STORM SHELTER…

Tonight’s opponents are the Sheffield Steelers, who, like the Storm, are keen to make some headway in climbing further up the standings.

But Manchester certainly won’t make it easy on them and they look to preserve their excellent recent run of six wins from their last seven outings.

Steelers won’t have forgotten what happened here on New Year’s Day when they were whitewashed 3-0 – a first shutout on home ice against tonight’s opponents.  Fans can expect a much different game this time around.

THE STORY SO FAR

21 Sep – Sheffield 4 Manchester 3 OT (Challenge Cup)

26 Oct – Manchester 1 Sheffield 2 (Challenge Cup)

23 Nov – Sheffield 5 Manchester 0 (Elite League)

30 Dec – Sheffield 3 Manchester 5 (Elite League)

LAST TIME OUT
