Saturday night’s alright for hockey as we get ready for another special one in the Storm Shelter, bringing some colour into proceedings.

That colour is pink and we can’t wait to see you wearing it in this latest Elite League adventure so check out all you need to know for this one.

We’re down to final tickets at the time of writing, so the only other place to see the game unless you’re coming to the Storm Shelter is on our live webcast, available to purchase now.

Face off is at 7:00pm, with doors opening for season tickets holders at 5:45pm then for everyone else at 6:00pm.

 

NEXT IN THE STORM SHELTER…

All the play-off places may have been taken, but it’s all about final positions as each team jockeys for position in the final weeks.

Storm remain fifth, but tonight’s opponents, Guildford Flames are right behind them so it’s the potential for quite the battle ahead.

Each meeting has been closely fought between the teams so don’t be surprised if this one goes the same way.

 

PREVENT BREAST CANCER

Tonight’s game is in honour of Prevent Breast Cancer, the only UK charity entirely dedicated to the prediction and prevention of breast cancer.

Join us for a special night at the Storm Shelter as we raise awareness and support an incredible cause.

Donation buckets will be in operation around the Shelter if you would like to contribute.

Along with Planet Ice, we are continuing our foodbank appeal with our friends at Wythenshawe Foodbank and donations are welcomed for this one.

Led by Storm in the Community, this collaboration gives our passionate fans the chance to help support those less fortunate within our local area.

Bring your donations to any drop off point at any ticket entrance and they will go directly to Wythenshawe Foodbank for distribution.

With three more meetings between the teams to come before the end of the regular season, they could be defining ones in who finishes in the top half of the table.

Tonight will be the sixth meeting between them, with Guildford winning three of the previous five, all of which have been at home. In fact, the away team have won only once in the last 10 encounters.

 

LAST TIME OUT

It was a close one at the Spectrum when the teams met last month, with Guildford edging a seven-goal thriller, but Storm took a point away from a tricky road trip.

CHUCK A PUCK

It’s exactly what it says.  Chuck a foam puck in the direction of Lightning Jack, standing on centre ice and if your puck is the closest, you win a commemorative puck AND a replica jersey of your choice (terms and conditions apply).

You know what to do.  Purchase those pucks (£1 each) and find a great position at the second period break from where you can chuck that puck.  Good luck!

NEXT HOME GAME:

After tonight, there are only THREE regular season home games left but tickets are already going fast for them.

Guildford Flames are back next Friday (face off 7:30pm) for the second in the trilogy of meetings with them to kick off a bumper weekend.

Belfast Giants are also Storm Shelter bound next Sunday (29th March, face off 5:30pm) with under 100 tickets remaining.

Then we finish our home schedule against Nottingham Panthers on Saturday 4th April (Face off 7:00pm) and we’re down to limited tickets already.
