It’s a first visit of the season to the Storm Shelter for the Glasgow Clan as another weekend of action gets set to begin.

Both teams have been ensconced in mid-table as the race for the play-offs continues so expect a tough and tight Elite League affair.

Tickets are available for this one so make sure you secure your seat for another great night in the Shelter.  Alternatively, if you are unable to make it, you can watch on our live webcast, available to purchase now.

Face off is at 7:30pm, with doors opening for season tickets holders at 6:15pm then for everyone else at 6:30pm.

It’s the turn of the Glasgow Clan to make their way to the Storm Shelter for this Friday night affair as both sides look to return to winning ways.

They’ve somehow managed to avoid each other in this building this season so you could say this one has been long overdue.  The team are certainly looking forward to it.

Along with Planet Ice, we are continuing our foodbank appeal with our friends at Wythenshawe Foodbank and donations are welcomed for this one.

Led by Storm in the Community, this collaboration gives our passionate fans the chance to help support those less fortunate within our local area.

Bring your donations to any drop off point at any ticket entrance and they will go directly to Wythenshawe Foodbank for distribution.

THE STORY SO FAR 

17 Sep – Glasgow 3 Manchester 2 (Elite League)

10 Oct – Glasgow 0 Manchester 4 (Elite League)

It’s a first meeting in three months between the Clan and the Storm and the third of the season with honours even in the series so far.

Storm shutout their Glaswegian hosts in the last meeting and there’s a fair argument to be made that Clan will feel they owe Manchester one after that.

The scene is set and with only four points separating the two teams going into this one, it’s going to be a good one.

 

 

LAST TIME OUT

When the sides met in October at Braehead Arena, not many would have predicted a Storm shutout yet that’s exactly what happened as coach Cameron Critchlow enjoyed a good night in the West of Scotland.

CHUCK A PUCK

It’s exactly what it says.  Chuck a foam puck in the direction of Lightning Jack, standing on centre ice and if your puck is the closest, you win a commemorative puck AND a replica jersey of your choice (terms and conditions apply).

You know what to do.  Purchase those pucks (£1 each) and find a great position at the second period break from where you can chuck that puck.  Good luck!

If you can’t be here for this one, our next home game is just nine days away when Manchester Storm welcome Belfast Giants to the Storm Shelter for a Sunday PRIDE NIGHT showdown (Face off 5:30pm)

Please note, this is not the re-arranged game originally set for Friday 5th December as this has now been set for Sunday 29th March, so please purchase your tickets for next week’s game in the normal fashion.
