STORM FORECAST – Storm vs Cardiff Devils | The Ultimate Storm Preview

It doesn’t seem that long since Cardiff Devils were last in the Storm Shelter and almost in the blink of an eye, they’re back again for this latest meeting.

The pre-Christmas meeting saw Paul Thompson’s side take away the points on that occasion, but it’s a new game and fresh points are at stake.

Tickets are available for this one so make sure you secure your seat for another great night in the Shelter.  Alternatively, if you are unable to make it, you can watch on our live webcast, available to purchase now.

Face off is at 7:00pm, with doors opening for season tickets holders at 5:45pm then for everyone else at 6:00pm.

NEXT IN THE STORM SHELTER…

Cardiff Devils are one of the teams bothering the higher echelons of the Elite League standings but won’t fancy how difficult the Storm Shelter can be.

Last week’s win over Dundee Stars set aside the gloom cast from their two New Year losses at the hands of Guildford Flames.

On the road, they won four out of five, but they have come a cropper in this building this season so they can definitely expect an uncomfortable night.

TICKETS/WEBCAST

Tickets remain available for this clash so you can secure your seats for this and future games at the Storm Shelter.

You can buy yours online at this website or alternatively they can also be purchased by calling 0161 926 8782 or in person at the Planet Ice Box Office.

For disability or wheelchair seating, please contact the Planet Ice box office by email altrincham@planet-ice.co.uk or by telephone on 0161 926 8782.

If you can’t make it, not to worry.  You can cheer on the Storm wherever you are with our game night webcast, available to purchase on Manchester Storm TV as we take you through the action.

Tune in and be part of another big night of hockey in Manchester!

THE STORY SO FAR

26 Sep – Cardiff 3 Manchester 0 (Challenge Cup)

27 Sep – Manchester 1 Cardiff 2 (Challenge Cup)

01 Nov – Cardiff 3 Manchester 2 (Elite League)

22 Nov – Manchester 5 Cardiff 4 OT (Elite League)

21 Dec – Manchester 1 Cardiff 3 (Elite League)

Both teams are gearing up for their sixth meeting of the season and it’s Cardiff who lead the way in terms of the series, coming up with victory in four out of five so far.

It’s not been without its moments though as these fixtures have carried a certain edge to them, but both teams are after their points for their own respective purposes.  Expect a feisty one.

LAST TIME OUT

A pre-Christmas clash saw Manchester hoping to repeat their home win over the Devils in November while Devils looked to be top of the pops with a win at the Storm Shelter.

Cue a Sunday night showdown as old rivalries were re-engaged as both sides battled this one out.
