Your Go Goodwins sponsored Manchester Storm walked away with maximum points in the first game of the away double header against the Belfast Giants last night.

A gritty road win for the Manchester Storm saw it ending in a stale-mate after regulation time with both teams scoring two goals, which took us to a thrilling five minute overtime period. The Belfast Giants had out-shot the Storm through 60 minutes, but with #1 Netminder Matt Ginn in exceptional form, managed to gain a point and the chance to win through penalty shots. With top British points scorer finding the net along with defence-man Riley Stadel in the penalty shootout & Matt Ginn again on top form, the Manchester Storm walked away with the two points and now look to secure another huge away win this evening as we face Belfast Giants in round 2 of the double header!
