BREAKING: Manchester Storm To Go ‘Back To Their Roots’ For #2021EliteSeries!

BACK TO OUR ROOTS, #MANCHESTER!

The Manchester Storm are thrilled to reveal their very special retro style home and away jerseys ahead of the #2021EliteSeries!

Both playing kits pay homage to the club’s maiden campaign in British ice hockey in 1995-96, this record breaking season saw the club go on to win the Division One championship and the banner hangs from the rafters in the Storm shelter still today.

With a Brit heavy line-up for the Elite Series, just like the line-up some 25 years ago, the club thought it fitting to honour all those that played their part in Storm’s first piece of silverware.

Unlike the uniforms of the 1990’s, it’s the home shirt that is now predominantly black with the original Storm logo at the centre of the chest. Bringing a new era twist, the worker bee emblem of Manchester is located once again in the neck insert with the collars sporting kit manufacturer Dunamis and ‘Elite Series 2021’. The lower half of the jersey continues the retro feel with the white and purple stripping footed by a navy-blue trim.

The away jersey this time around is mostly white with the original Storm logo at the centre of the chest. The Manchester Bee is located once again in the neck insert with the collars also sporting kit manufacturer Dunamis and ‘Elite Series 2021’. The lower half of the jersey is trimmed by a black dividing line, with the white and purple stripping footed by a navy-blue trim. With a sleek, plain, good ol’ hockey design these jerseys are sure to be a big fan favourite of both old and new followers of The Manchester Storm.

Tell us, when you see this jersey design, which player 1st springs to mind?
