A big crowd is expected THIS Friday 19th September as the club host Challenge Cup fixture against the Nottingham Panthers.This will be the first meet since pre-season action last month.

Following Friday’s game, the Storm chase more Challenge Cup points on the road. They face Sheffield Steelers on 21st September (16:00 face-off) before making the journey to Cardiff on Friday 26th September (19:30 face-off)

The visitors

Despite retaining most of the core players at the Panthers, Head Coach Danny Stewart, has signed some new faces including Jarod Hilderman, Brendan Harris and Bryan Lemos.

Former Storm player Finlay Ulrick swapped Sheffield Steelers for Nottingham Panthers ahead of the 2025/26 season.

LAST TIME OUT

Last week saw double header Challenge Cup hockey against Coventry Blaze. On the first night fans witnessed a ten goal thriller, with Storm winning 6-4. The following evening, Storm travelled to the Skydome. Despite collecting a point in overtime, it was Blaze who came out on top.

On Wednesday Storm headed north to Braehead for their first EIHL fixture of the season against Glasgow Clan.

Despite efforts to push back and goals from Joe Nardi and J.D. Dudek during the second and third period, Glasgow claimed the two points in regular time, the final score 3-2 to the hosts.
