The regular season is in the books and now it’s all about the play-offs as Nottingham Panthers are back in the Storm Shelter for the final home game of 2025/26.

This is what it’s all about with a place in next week’s finals weekend at stake and history could beckon for Manchester Storm.

There are still limited tickets at the time of writing so don’t waste any time if you want to be rinkside for this epic quarter final battle.  The boys need you for this one.

If you can’t make it for whatever reason, the only other place to see the game unless you’re coming to the Storm Shelter is on our live webcast, available to purchase now.

Face off is at 7:00pm, with doors opening for season tickets holders at 5:45pm then for everyone else at 6:00pm.

 

NEXT IN THE STORM SHELTER…

After two meetings last week, both Storm and Panthers are together again for this two-legged play-off quarter final where at least six periods of play will decide which team will have an extra week to their season and which team will finish up.

This is only the first leg so nothing will be decided tonight, but it could set the tone for tomorrow’s rematch in Nottingham.

It’s quite the night – and weekend – in prospect.

WYTHENSHAWE FOODBANK APPEAL

For the final time and in conjunction with Planet Ice, we are continuing our foodbank appeal with our friends at Wythenshawe Foodbank and donations are, once more, welcomed for this one.

Led by Storm in the Community, this collaboration gives our passionate fans the chance to help support those less fortunate within our local area.

Bring your donations to any drop off point at any ticket entrance and they will go directly to Wythenshawe Foodbank for distribution.

Thank you to everyone who has donated throughout the course of the season and every one of them has been greatly appreciated.

07 Nov 25 – Nottingham 6 Manchester 2 (Elite League)

13 Dec 25 – Manchester 0 Nottingham 3 (Elite League)

This is the first time both teams will face each other in the Elite League play-offs, but Panthers won six of the eight meetings between them in the league and Challenge Cup.

Storm won one of the four meetings at the Storm Shelter, but the last three showdowns, while all won by Panthers, have been one-goal games.

 

LAST TIME OUT

Nottingham Panthers were in the Storm Shelter just last Saturday to close out the regular season campaign in a seven-goal thriller where Danny Stewart’s side claimed the points.

It was so good when we did it before, we’ve decided to do it again!

We are giving away five team signed blood jerseys from throughout the season – Home 1, Home 2, Away, Warm-up and Remembrance. That’s right – five jerseys = FIVE WINNERS!

The winning tickets will be drawn in the respective order of jerseys listed above and to be in it to win one, get your tickets, priced at £5 each, from our match night sellers, or head to the Storm Support desk located under Block 113.

CHUCK A PUCK

It’s exactly what it says.  Chuck a foam puck in the direction of Lightning Jack, standing on centre ice and if your puck is the closest, you win a commemorative puck AND a replica jersey of your choice (terms and conditions apply).

You know what to do.  Purchase those pucks (£1 each) and find a great position at the second period break from where you can chuck that puck.  Good luck!

NEXT HOME GAME:

Sadly, this is the end of the road for 2025/26 at home with no more games scheduled at the Storm Shelter.  Hopefully there’s more to come from the Storm in next week’s play-off finals.

But for now, thank you for your ongoing support this season.  You really have been incredible and every one of the players, the coaching staff and management appreciate the noise and energy you’ve brought.
