STORM FORECAST – Storm vs Coventry Blaze | The Ultimate Storm Preview

Let’s do it all again, shall we? The home double header comes to a conclusion as Manchester Storm finish the weekend with a visit from Coventry Blaze.

Saturday night in the Storm Shelter is always a fun one and we expect no different when Kevin Moore brings his team here for this latest meeting so allow us to take you into what you can expect.

Before we do, tickets are available here to purchase and you can find the webcast here, if you’d rather stay in and watch.  Face off is at 7:00pm.

NEXT IN THE STORM SHELTER…

Coventry Blaze perhaps haven’t had the start to the league season they would have hoped for, so a trip to Manchester may not be one they’ll be particularly looking forward to.

One victory in their last six and four straight losses is not ideal form to bring to this game, but it’s true that anything can happen on any given night.

Storm’s five points from a possible six in the meetings between the sides so far could lean someone towards favouring Manchester, but it’s never that simple.

TICKETS/WEBCAST

Tickets are still available for the clash so there’s still time to buy yours at the time of posting.

You can buy yours online at this website or alternatively they can also be purchased by calling 0161 926 8782 or in person at the Planet Ice Box Office.

For disability, carer or wheelchair seating, please contact the Planet Ice box office by email altrincham@planet-ice.co.uk or by telephone on 0161 926 8782.

If you can’t make it, not to worry.  You can cheer on the Storm wherever you are with our game night webcast, available to purchase on Manchester Storm TV as we take you through the action.

Tune in and be part of another big night of hockey in Manchester!

PLAYER TO WATCH

Matthew Gleason (Coventry Blaze) – The Blaze forward has been on something of a streak and will be keen to continue that when he enters the building to face Manchester.

Eight goals and two assists from his last 10 games is not a bad stat in a team that have struggled for any kind of meaningful form this season.

With just under a point in all competitions, Gleason, on a good night, can average roughly four shots on goal a night. On current form, not a player Storm would like to give space to in key areas.

PREVIOUS MEETING

You don’t have to look too far back for the last meeting between the teams and for the second time this season, Manchester Storm made sure they were smiling by the end of the contest.
