STORM FORECAST – Storm vs Fife Flyers | The Ultimate Storm Preview
We’re home for the weekend and we couldn’t be happier as we begin a home double header and a chance to claim four Elite League points, starting right here.
There are no guarantees, of course and the players will tell you, it’s all one game at a time and that’s what we’re doing here as we welcome Fife Flyers to the Storm Shelter for a Friday night encounter so let’s get to it.
Before we do, tickets are available here to purchase and you can find the webcast here, if you’d rather stay in and watch. Face off is at 7:00pm.
NEXT IN THE STORM SHELTER…
It hasn’t been the best of times for the Fife Flyers as they come to the Storm Shelter with only a point to show for their efforts so far this season.
Jamie Russell’s side will be out to change that when they come to Manchester and after two losses in their previous visits in the current campaign, they’ll want to make it third time lucky.
They signed two players last week in David Booth and Anton Karlsson and the latter could be set for his EIHL debut, if all goes well, but it’s going to be a tough test, irrespective of the form of both teams.
TICKETS/WEBCAST
Tickets are still available for the clash so there’s still time to buy yours at the time of posting.
You can buy yours online at this website or alternatively they can also be purchased by calling 0161 926 8782 or in person at the Planet Ice Box Office.
For disability or wheelchair seating, please contact the Planet Ice box office by email altrincham@planet-ice.co.uk or by telephone on 0161 926 8782.
If you can’t make it, not to worry. You can cheer on the Storm wherever you are with our game night webcast, available to purchase on Manchester Storm TV as we take you through the action.
Tune in and be part of another big night of hockey in Manchester!
DANTE HANNOUN
Fife might have a new face in their line-up, but so might we as forward Dante Hannoun could be set for his first appearance in a Storm jersey since signing earlier this week.
We caught up with him to discuss his move as he gave his first impressions since arriving.

PLAYER TO WATCH
Josh Winquist (Fife Flyers) – The Flyers forward is a player with plenty of energy and always looking to either create or get on the end of shots.
While league points haven’t been easy to come by, his hard work and effort is always appreciated by the Flyers fans and could be a key player in this contest.
Fife are certainly a poorer team without him and given any room to manoeuvre, could be every a threat to the Storm blueliners.
PREVIOUS MEETING
It could have been a Halloween horror show when Fife last visited the Storm Shelter at the end of October, but for the Manchester fans in the stand, it was certainly a treat.
