WEEK AHEAD – March-ing into a new month

Another week begins and we’re on the verge of beginning a brand new month as March is just days away, meaning the climax to the season edges ever closer.

Every night is a hard night, every player will tell you and they’re not wrong as every point gained takes on new significance.

So let’s take a look at what’s coming up for Manchester Storm over the next week.

Saturday 28th February

Nottingham Panthers vs Manchester Storm (Motorpoint Arena, Face off 7:00pm)

Having just faced them at the weekend at the Storm Shelter, the Panthers and Storm meet once more as both teams convene at the Motorpoint Arena.

There is still plenty of hockey to be played between these two teams, with three more fixtures to come between them, but this is a big one for both sides.

Manchester won there in the Challenge Cup earlier in the seasons so know they can get the job done.  Danny Stewart’s men won’t make it easy though.

DID YOU KNOW?

Manchester Storm took 10 points from a possible 20 in February last year.  As they head into the final game of this month, they have 9 points from 8 games so far.

Sunday 1st March

Manchester Storm vs Glasgow Clan (The Storm Shelter, Face off 5:30pm)

WEBCAST

The weekend ends and March begins as Storm return to the Storm Shelter for a Sunday date with Glasgow Clan.

They played each other in an exciting double header last week where both games went beyond regulation time, yielding a victory each in either case.

Now they get to do it all again as the Purple Army converge on the Shelter looking for points.

Tickets are already down to less than 250 so you’d better get in quick as another possible sellout looms.

DID YOU KNOW?

Storm have won six of the last seven games at home against Glasgow Clan in a run that began at the start of last season.
