Storm Welcome Academy Graduate Connor Lee Back to Manchester
Manchester Storm are delighted to announce the return of Connor Lee, the very first professionally contracted player to emerge from the Manchester Storm Academy. He rejoins the team from the Spruce Grove Saints (BCHL).
Now 18 years old, Lee has spent the last two seasons honing his skills in the competitive BCHL with the Penticton Vees and Spruce Grove Saints, making 36 appearances.
Before leaving for North America, Lee made 60 appearances for the Storm in the EIHL. Since his departure, fellow Storm Academy prospects: Josh Crawley, Theo Malone, and Noah Kääriäinen have all made their professional debuts, thanks to the Elite Development Programme.
The highly talented young forward will be arriving in the UK shortly, adding further depth to the Storm’s attacking ranks for the remainder of the season.
Head Coach Cam Critchlow had this to say:
“Connor is a very talented player that has a big upside, he skates very well and I’m excited to see how his game has progressed both as an individual and fitting within teams systems and culture. He is a player that makes our team better and I look forward to seeing him in a storm jersey again.”
