Your Go Goodwins Manchester Storm made a visit to the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital today, delivering over a hundred gifts to the children in their care, thanks to our sponsors, Tesco!

Linden Springer, Ryan Trenz, Paul Swindlehurst, Ciaran Long, Chris Auger, & Scott Pitt joined members of Tesco Community team and the Storm’s Front Office staff in handing out selection boxes and kids Christmas clothing to the children on the 3 wards visited by the team.

The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital sees over 260,000 patients each year, across a range of specialities including oncology, haematology, bone marrow transplant, burns, genetics, and orthopaedics. With 371 beds, the RMCH is the largest single-site children’s hospital in the UK.

The hospital provides an integrated paediatric service to Greater Manchester and the North West, and features the latest medical equipment and information technology, as well as a play centre, OFSTED certified schooling, limited family accommodation and adolescent facilities to cater for the needs of the whole family.

Everyone at Storm would like to thank Angela, Lucy, and the entire RMCH Charity team for giving us the opportunity to come down and hopefully put a smile on some of their patients!
