PREVIEW: Back to back home games for Storm this weekend

Join us for back-to-back EIHL action against Sheffield Steelers and Dundee Stars this weekend. Last Friday at home was a success against Nottingham Panthers, Storm came out with a 4-2 win, goals from Ehrhardt, Bradyx2 and VanWormer. 

Manchester Storm vs Sheffield Steelers – Saturday 19th February 2022 @19:00 – Planet Ice Altrincham

Sheffield Steelers visit the Storm Shelter for the first home EIHL matchup of the season this Saturday. The last time the two sides met was in October for Challenge Cup action. Both sides went into protocol over the festive period and still have four more matchups following Saturday’s game.

With well over 1600 tickets sold already it’s looking to be a sell out at the Storm Shelter, so get tickets while you still can. Tickets can be purchased online here. Alternatively you can book via phone by calling 0161-926-8782 or book in person at the box office.

Doors open at 18:00 for a 19:00 faceoff.

Manchester Storm vs Dundee Stars – Sunday 20th February 2022 @18:30 – Planet Ice Altrincham

Omar Pacha and the Dundee Stars visit the Storm Shelter this Sunday for a later faceoff time of 18:30. Doors open at 17:30.

The last time Storm faced Stars on home ice, Manchester won 4-3, with goals from Brady, Hamilton, VanWormer and Critchlow. Expect a competitive game with vital EIHL points up for grabs.

Adam Brady sits in fifth position in the top EIHL players stats, totalling 41 points including 15 goals and 26 assists. 


The legal requirement to wear face masks ended on 27th January 2022. Please continue to show consideration to other fans and staff who may be nervous about being part of a crowd as restrictions are eased.
