After a busy few weeks of fixtures coming one after the other, it’s bound to hit a quiet spell and this week does exactly that...

Manchester Storm only have the one game to look ahead and it means another road trip as Cameron Critchlow and the team look to pick up more points on the road.

So let’s find out where the road takes us this week.

Saturday 24th October - Fife Flyers vs Manchester Storm

(Fife Ice Arena, Kirkcaldy, 7:00pm)

We’ve been to Dundee and to Glasgow and now we complete the Scottish trinity with a trip to Kirkcaldy for the first time this season and to a venue that’s never easy, no matter who you are.

The Flyers, under Tim Wallace, are enjoying something of a renaissance after some disappointing campaigns and early season results have certainly raised some eyebrows in the wider Motorpoint Elite League context.

Last season saw Manchester complete a clean sweep of wins in the  ‘Auld Barn’ in a single campaign for the first time in their Motorpoint Elite League history.

Right now, the one victory will do, but this Flyers team have shown they are much different team than before.  Add the passionate home crowd and it’s certainly a stern road test for Cameron Critchlow and his players.
