StormCast Episode 12 | Coach Critch ready as Storm hit the big time

Manchester Storm head coach Cameron Critchlow says there’s a buzz around his team as they prepare for this weekend’s historic homecoming.

While preparations continue for the first game at the AO Arena, the team have been put through their paces this week in training.

And he says the guys are very much looking forward to what will definitely be a huge occasion on Sunday when Storm return home after 24 years.

The group’s pretty excited. It's been a week and a half of practice with one game under our belt in Coventry.  It feels like the guys are starting to feel the excitement around the team.

There’s a buzz right now and while we’re not fully sure what to expect yet - although the glass, the boards and the jumbotron is all up now - it’s a big step for everyone involved.

I know how much Ryan, Emma and all the staff have put into this.  It’s a monumental day for the club and we’re all really looking forward to that.

We want to get off on the right foot and I couldn’t think of a better group to represent the club.  It’s exciting for them and I’m looking forward to seeing them take that ownership.
