FINAL

Some things are bigger than hockey.
This November, Manchester Storm will join the wider Motorpoint Elite League in supporting Ice Hockey Fights Cancer, bringing our hockey family together to raise awareness, honour loved ones and stand alongside everyone whose lives have been touched by cancer.

On Thursday 19 November 2026, we welcome the Fife Flyers to the Storm Shelter for our dedicated Ice Hockey Fights Cancer Night. It will be an evening to come together for something that reaches far beyond the rink, celebrating the people, the stories and the memories that make this cause so personal to so many of us.
Running from 13th to 22nd November 2026, the league-wide campaign will see all ten clubs dedicate a home game to the cause, wearing specially designed jerseys and supporting charity partners making a difference in their communities.
For us, this night carries a special meaning.
Our relationship with Prevent Breast Cancer, through our much-loved Pink the Rink initiative, is woven into the fabric of Manchester Storm and is something we are incredibly proud of. The charity holds a special place in the hearts of everyone at the club, and through its pioneering research, education and prevention work, it is helping drive towards a future free from breast cancer.

As part of Ice Hockey Fights Cancer Night, proceeds from our specially designed jerseys will support Prevent Breast Cancer’s vital work, helping drive forward the research and prevention that could make a difference to generations to come.
The charity will also join us in the concourse on game night, with collection buckets available for supporters who wish to donate. Every contribution, however big or small, will help support their work.
Cancer touches so many lives. It affects our families, our friends, our teammates and our communities. Behind every diagnosis is a person, a family and a story that deserves to be heard.
This night is an opportunity to celebrate those who have come through cancer, stand beside those facing it today and remember those we wish were still with us.
We want our Storm family to be part of it. We know that behind the jerseys in the stands and the voices ringing around the Shelter are countless personal stories of courage, love, hope and loss. Every one of them matters, and we want to help give those stories a place on this special night.

Cancer touches so many lives, and we know that within our Storm family, there are countless stories of courage, love, hope and loss.
As part of our Ice Hockey Fights Cancer Night, we invite you to share the story of someone special in your life who has been impacted by cancer, along with a photograph you would like us to share in their honour.
Whether you want to celebrate a loved one who has overcome cancer, recognise someone currently facing the disease, pay tribute to someone you have sadly lost, or honour someone whose life has been changed by a cancer diagnosis, we would be honoured to help you share their story.

Every story is personal. Every person matters. On this special night, we want to come together to celebrate, remember and stand alongside everyone affected by cancer.
We will always come together to cheer on our team, but nights like this remind us that the Storm family is part of something much bigger.
