PRE-SEASON
06.09.26

Manchester Storm have unveiled their 2026/27 pre-season jersey, putting Manchester, homegrown talent and the future of the club at the centre of its new season identity, while carrying a hidden nod to one of the biggest dates in the club’s history.
The new jerseys have been launched with three Manchester born players from the Storm Development Programme, Theo Malone, Josh Crawley and Noah Kääriäinen, reflecting a club looking firmly towards its next generation as it prepares for an exciting new chapter.
The pre-season jersey also sees the return of Manchester Storm’s original logo, reconnecting the club’s new era with its history and identity in the city.
Rather than treating the jersey solely as something worn on game night, Manchester Storm wants the new collection to represent the city itself: a piece supporters can wear beyond the rink and one that can become part of Manchester’s wider sporting, fashion and cultural landscape.
The launch places three young players with deep connections to Manchester front and centre.
Theo Malone, born and raised around Manchester and a product of the Storm Academy, wears MANCHESTER | 06.

Josh Crawley, another Manchester born Storm Academy product whose family connection with the club spans three generations, wears STORM | 09.

Noah Kääriäinen, also born and raised around Manchester and developed through the Storm Academy, wears AO ARENA | 26.

Put the three together and they tell the story at the heart of the campaign:
MANCHESTER | STORM | AO ARENA ... 06 | 09 | 26
The numbers are more than numbers. Together, 06.09.26 marks the date Storm officially come home, connecting the club’s Manchester roots, its next generation and its future at the AO Arena in one visual story.
It is a campaign built around where the club comes from and where it is heading.
The move to the AO Arena creates an opportunity to introduce elite ice hockey to a new generation and a much wider audience across Greater Manchester, while placing Storm at the heart of one of the world’s great sporting cities.
Central to that ambition is the club’s commitment to developing local talent. By putting Development Programme players at the forefront of the campaign, Storm is highlighting a pathway that gives young players from across Greater Manchester something tangible to aspire towards, from learning the game locally to one day representing their city.
The campaign also deliberately takes the Storm jersey beyond traditional hockey imagery. Shot with a lifestyle and fashion led approach, the collection is designed to feel at home across Manchester, not only inside an arena.
The 2026/27 jerseys were designed by Manchester Storm graphic designer Andrew Duxbury, produced by the club’s equipment partner Warrior and photographed by Rich Lister.
This launch is about much more than a pre-season jersey. It’s about what Manchester Storm represents, the city we represent and where we want the club to go next.
Theo, Josh and Noah have grown up around Greater Manchester and developed through our pathway. Putting them at the centre of the campaign felt like the perfect way to represent our future.
There’s also a story in the numbers. 06.09.26 represents our Homecoming Game and one of the biggest moments in the club’s history. Manchester. Storm. AO Arena. Each jersey carries one part of that story, and together they point towards the day we come home.
Bringing the original Storm logo back onto the jersey also connects that future with our history. We are entering a new era for the club, but we are proud of where Manchester Storm has come from and what that badge means to our supporters.
We want to see the Storm jersey worn across Manchester. Whether you’ve followed the club for years, you’re discovering hockey for the first time, or you simply feel proud to represent the city, we want this to be something people want to wear and be part of.
The move to the AO Arena gives us a huge opportunity to take both the sport and the Storm brand to people who might never previously have considered themselves hockey fans. Our homegrown players are an important part of that story because they represent what we want the future of Manchester Storm to look like.
Emma Finnerty, Managing Director of Manchester Storm
The jersey launch forms part of Manchester Storm’s wider ambition to strengthen its connection with the city, create opportunities for the next generation and establish the club as a distinctive part of Manchester’s sporting and cultural identity.

Three players. Three jerseys. Three parts of the story.
MANCHESTER | 06
STORM | 09
AO ARENA | 26

Born here. Developed here. Coming home.
