MANCHESTER STORM CHOOSE TRAP MAFIA HOUSE’S “LET’S GO” AS INTRO TRACK FOR THE 2026/27 SEASON

News

Some songs are chosen. Others earn their place.

For Manchester Storm, Trap Mafia House’s “Let’s Go” has become more than an intro track.

First used ahead of last season’s Playoff run, it captured the anticipation, belief and defiance of a team stepping onto a stage it had never reached before.

Now, over a month into Storm’s return to the AO Arena, the track connects that defining moment with a new chapter unfolding back in Manchester.

THE SOUND OF UNFINISHED BUSINESS

There is an attitude at the heart of “Let’s Go” that feels unmistakably Storm: the outsider, the anti-hero, the one who gets knocked down, gets back up and returns with something to prove.

Ahead of the 25/26 playoffs, the song represented possibility: a team stepping onto a stage it had never reached before, a fanbase believing something special could happen and a club refusing to be defined by expectations.

Now, it carries those memories into the team’s entrance at the AO Arena. The history is there, but so is a new sense of purpose. This time, the destination is home.

We came. We conquered. We’re back.

TWO VIDEOS. ONE STORY.

Storm’s two intro videos tell different parts of the same story.

The original, which ran from 6 September to 23 September, celebrated the club’s identity through the story of Manchester, its history and the journey that brought Storm to this point.

Introduced on 10 October, the new video shifts the focus towards the present and future. Featuring highlights from the club’s first month back at the AO Arena, it captures the atmosphere, people and moments that make Storm special. It will accompany the team for the remainder of the season.

Connecting both is Jon Hammond, the original voice of the Storm. His familiar narration links the club’s past with its future, reminding supporters where Storm came from as a new chapter unfolds.

FROM 25/26 PLAYOFFS TO THE AO

In Manchester, music has always been part of the city’s identity. Across generations, its artists and venues have reflected an independent, ambitious and defiant spirit.

The AO Arena is part of that story, bringing people together through some of the biggest moments in live entertainment.

A month into Storm’s return, the arena is once again becoming the setting for memories that will shape the club’s future.

For supporters, hearing “Let’s Go” brings together the excitement of the 25/26 Playoff run with the feeling of being back home. The track has moved from soundtracking the possibility of reaching somewhere new to accompanying the team on familiar ground, in a building woven into Storm’s history.

It now connects last season with this season, the players on the ice with the supporters in the stands, and the memories already made with those still waiting to happen.

When the lights go down at the AO Arena and those opening sounds hit, Storm fans don’t need an introduction.

They recognise it. They remember. And they know what it means.

“Let’s Go” is no longer just about where Manchester Storm wants to go. It is about everything the club has carried with it on the journey home, and everything still to come

Back to Manchester. Back under the lights. Back at the AO Arena.

And when the team prepares to take to the ice, there are only ever two words left to say:

 LET’S GO.
