Development player programme graduate CONNOR LEE RETURNS FOR 2026/27

Signing news

Manchester Storm are excited to confirm the return of British forward Connor Lee, who enters the second year of the two-year deal he signed upon returning to the club last season.

The first professionally contracted player to emerge from the Manchester Storm Academy, Lee split the previous campaign between the Spruce Grove Saints of the BCHL and the Storm.

The 19-year-old forward has already made 83 EIHL appearances and will be looking to add his first professional goal in the upcoming campaign.

The poster boy of Storm’s Development player programme, Lee will be hoping to climb the depth charts and continue to fulfil his considerable potential.

Connor obviously rejoined us part-way through last year after playing some junior hockey in Canada. His speed and puck-handling abilities have been obvious from the start of his career, and I think this year is another great opportunity for him to continue to develop. The amount of experience we have in the locker room this year will no doubt help Connor and all the other younger guys. The Storm have made it a priority to grow our own talent, and I am lucky to be able to bring them through within the professional ranks, thanks to all the great work the junior coaches have already done for me.

I’m excited for this season, the new rink more fans and more noise, it’s going to be special! I cant wait to get started and to see all the guys again.
