Manchester Storm’s 25/26 Campaign Begins this Weekend
The Everitt Construction Manchester Storm return THIS Saturday 13th September for the home leg of back-to-back fixtures against Coventry Blaze. We look forward to welcoming you all back to the Storm Shelter. Doors open at 18:00 for a 19:00 face – off.
Following Saturday’s fixture, Storm will head to Coventry Skydome for the second leg against the Blaze on Sunday 14th September. Face-off is at 17:30.
THE VISITORS
Coventry Blaze coach Kevin Moore has added some fresh faces during the off-season including Dershahn Stewart, Artem Buzoberya and Jere Vertanen.
Grant Mismash, Mack Stewart and Elijiah Barriga made the swap from Belfast Giants to Blaze. Michael Pelech signed from Glasgow Clan, while Colton Saucerman swapped Sheffield for Blaze this season.

CHALLENGE CUP INFORMATION
Storm and Blaze are placed in Group A for the Challenge Cup format, alongside Guildford Flames, Cardiff Devils, Nottingham Panthers and Sheffield Steelers.
The teams will face each other once at home and once away, with the first group stage ending in November.
The rules are much like the league games, where if games are tied at the end of the game, it will go to overtime or shootout to decide who wins.
As the cup continues league wide over the next few months, you will be able to view the standings on the EIHL website.
THE NEXT THREE GAMES
Next week is a busy schedule for the club, as they travel further north to Braehead Arena on Wednesday 17th September to face the Glasgow Clan. This will be their first EIHL league game of the season. Faceoff is at 19:30.
Storm are then back on home ice on Friday 19th September for Challenge Cup fixture against Nottingham Panthers at 19:30 before heading to Sheffield on the 21st September to face the Steelers.
