Manchester Storm Sign Dual-National Forward Dante Hannoun to Boost Festive Roster

Manchester Storm are delighted to announce the signing of dual-national forward Dante Hannoun. Hannoun most recently played for the Odense Bulldogs in Denmark.

Ahead of the busy festive period, the Storm front office have moved quickly to add a dynamic playmaking forward, bringing Hannoun into the lineup as the team looks to build momentum through the holiday schedule.

Hannoun is a product of the major junior leagues (WHL), representing the Victoria Royals and later the Prince Albert Raiders across 314 games. During that time, he amassed 279 points (108 goals, 171 assists) before transitioning into the professional ranks.

A brief stint with the Atlanta Gladiators (ECHL) in 2019–20 kick-started Hannoun’s professional career before a move to Italian outfit HC Bolzano. By 2021, Hannoun had become an Italian international, representing Italy for the next three years and making 43 appearances in total.

In the summer of 2024, the forward made the move to HK Spišská Nová Ves (Slovakia), accruing 35 points in 48 games. This season, Hannoun has iced for HC Prešov and Odense Bulldogs, impressing in Denmark with 7 points (5G, 2A) in just 9 games. However, the Storm management fought off competition from within the league to secure his signature for the remainder of the 2025–26 EIHL campaign.

Head Coach Cam Critchlow expressed his delight at adding Hannoun to the squad:

“To be able to add a player of Dante’s experience at this stage of the campaign is a testament to the continuous search for improvement within our entire franchise.
“Everybody knows how hectic the schedule becomes around Christmas and New Year, so the extra depth will undoubtedly benefit our team in being able to rotate personnel whilst maintaining quality throughout the line-up.”
