Manchester Storm secure the signature in demand!

Manchester Storm are pleased to announce the signing of defenceman Bradley Jenion, most recently of the Macon Mayhem (SPHL).

Standing tall on the blue line, the British defenceman brings size, strength, and physicality to the roster. Known for his no-nonsense style and defensive reliability, Jenion adds valuable experience from both sides of the Atlantic.

The 27-year-old from Macclesfield, England, stands at 6’5″ and weighs 220 lbs, offering a formidable presence in our defensive group. He made his professional debut with the Mayhem during the 2023–24 season, recording 12 points (1 goal, 11 assists) and 119 penalty minutes in 43 games, while leading the team with a +3 rating. Although re-signed by Macon for the 2024–25 season, multiple injuries limited his appearances to just 16 in his second professional campaign.

Prior to turning professional, Jenion spent four seasons at Trine University (NCAA Division III), where he captained the team in his senior year. Across 82 games, he registered 24 points (11 goals, 13 assists) and 152 penalty minutes, earning a spot on the NCHA All-Freshman Team in 2019–20.

Jenion was the only British player in the SPHL during the 2024–25 season and has previously represented Great Britain at both U18 and U20 levels. He holds ambitions of becoming a full senior international.

Head Coach Cam Critchlow commented:

“Brad is a solid addition to our defensive core. He brings toughness, composure, and a real team mentality. We believe he’ll be a steady presence at the back and play a key role for us this season.”

Jenion now returns to the UK looking to make an impact and continue his professional journey with the Storm.
