Manchester Storm are excited to announce the contract extension of Canadian forward, Tyler Hinam!

The 24-year-old winger has today signed a two-year contract extension that will see him stay until at least the conclusion of the 2025-26 EIHL campaign. The talented forward is currently leading the Storm’s individual tallies in goals, assists and total points.

Head Coach Matt Ginn had this to say about securing the services of Hinam for two more years: “We’re excited to bring Tyler back. He’s a very important player for us in all situations. Since he has arrived, his work ethic has been excellent. He wants to contribute and improve and I have no doubt that will continue to be the case. Tyler has a great shot and a nose for the net. He has an infectious attitude and enjoys coming to the rink each day.

If you look at the teams that have continued success in our league, they retain a majority of their core from year to year. We want to follow that, and securing Tyler for the next couple years is an important step for us.”

Tyler Hinam had this to say on his exciting new contract: “I’m thrilled to re-sign in Manchester, my experience here so far has been amazing. Right from the day I arrived here in September, everything has been first class. It’s fun coming to the rink everyday, we have a great group of guys in the room, the organization treats us so well, and the warm welcome and support from the fans has been very appreciated. It truly was an easy decision to re-sign, and I’m excited for the future with the Storm!

The club would like to say a huge thank-you to sponsors ‘Plumlife Homes‘ for sponsoring Tyler for the duration of the 2023/24 Elite League season!
