Cutler looking to enjoy home comforts

Storm forward Brandon Cutler says he’s looking forward to not having to travel this weekend as he looks ahead to this weekends visits from Fife Flyers and Coventry Blaze.

Manchester and their fans are looking forward to a double header of home games starting tonight as they look to climb from their fifth place into a higher place in the standings.

And Cutler, who scored the overtime winner against Cardiff Devils in the last home game on Saturday, is looking forward to hearing the home crowd again.

“It’s great not having to travel and deal with late night arrivals,” he said. “It’s also a huge advantage to be at home for the entire weekend for recovery purposes but also able to feed of the energy from our fans both games.

“In the games, we just have to play our way, be detailed and have discipline within our systems and trust the process.

“It’s certainly going to be a good opportunity for us to bounce back after last weekend’s loss to Sheffield.

“We have a tight knit group and we have already been though a lot of adversity so far this season.

“We are pushing each other every day in practice to be better and it’s been really fun so far.”
