CHALLENGE CUP: Storm to play Blaze in winner takes all ‘play in’ game!

After defeat at the hands of The Nottingham Panthers in Group C of the Challenge Cup this weekend, it’s been confirmed that the club will be facing Coventry Blaze in a ‘winner takes all’ ‘Play-In’ game, which will see the winner advance to the Challenge Cup Quarter Finals.

The venue is to be confirmed based on Coventry Blaze’s result vs. Guildford Flames at the Skydome Arena this Saturday 9th November.

With each team on six points in their respective groups and both having two regulation wins, the third tiebreaker comes into action.

Manchester Storm currently have 3 total wins (including overtime and penalties) and so currently hold the home advantage, but at least a point vs. Flames, will see Blaze with a better record and the game be played at the Skydome Arena.

The date of the game is TBC.
