Manchester Storm are thrilled to announce the return of club captain Cameron Critchlow, for his fourth full EIHL campaign. 

The vastly experienced forward has made 150 EIHL league and 14 EIHL Series appearances which collectively have produced 97 points (35G 62A) – whilst earning the reputation as one of the best defensive forwards within the league.

The two-way forward has performed consistently in a Storm jersey and this was noticed by Team GB – who included him in their initial squad for the World Championship. The dual-national made three appearances for GB over the summer and Critchlow’s familiar face will be warmly welcomed back in the Shelter in September. 

Head Coach, Matt Ginn, had this to say about the returning Critchlow: “I’m very excited to bring our captain Critch back for another season. He’s a natural born leader that is a big driving force behind the culture we are pushing in Manchester. Critch is a player that plays in all situations and does whatever is asked of him on the ice. I know the fans will be excited to see his toothless smile back in a Storm jersey.”

Returning Captain, Cam Critchlow added “I’m extremely happy to be in Manchester for another season! The Storm has been my home for the last 3 years and I can’t wait to get back and continue to grow a winning culture within the organization.”
