Brandon Cutler Back for Second Season with Manchester Storm

Manchester Storm are thrilled to announce the return of forward Brandon Cutler ahead of the 2026/27 EIHL season.

The Canadian winger will continue for a second season after an impressive first, where he recorded 41 points (16 goals, 25 assists) in 54 league appearances. The sixteen goals saw him finish as the club’s joint-leading goalscorer alongside fellow returnee Gilmour, underlining his importance to the team’s offensive production.

Cutler initially arrived in Europe with EC Kassel Huskies (DEL2), where he enjoyed a strong debut campaign outside North America. In 40 DEL2 appearances, he registered 25 points (11 goals, 14 assists), quickly adapting to the European game.

Prior to his move overseas, Cutler established himself as one of the ECHL’s most productive forwards during his time with the Utah Grizzlies. Across 127 games, he amassed 122 points (61 goals, 61assists), earning multiple AHL call-ups in the process.

Head Coach Cam Critchlow commented:

“Bringing Brandon back was a really easy decision for us. He’s a player who brings so much to the
group, both on and off the ice.

His scoring ability speaks for itself – he has a knack for finding the back of the net. His vision and hockey IQ that make him such a valuable player.

He creates opportunities for those around him and has the ability to change a game with a single play.

Manchester has become a place he genuinely loves. He embraced the city, our fans and everything that comes with being part of this organisation, so we’re delighted to have him back and excited to see what he can achieve in a Storm jersey this season.”

The returning import winger had this to say:

“I’m excited to be back for another season. The fans were amazing last year and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone again in the new arena. It’ll be great to meet my new teammates and get back on the ice with the group. I can’t wait to get going.”
