Critchlow expecting “great challenge” in Nottingham
Manchester Storm head coach Cameron Critchlow is braced for another busy week as his team prepare for a midweek trip to Nottingham Panthers.
Storm returned to the top half of the table after Sunday’s 4-3 win over Belfast Giants and the coach was pleased to end a three-in-three weekend with something to smile about.
“It’s a tough mental battle when you face a busy weekend like that with travel,” he said “We didn’t get things off on the right foot Friday at home but a solid effort Sunday salvaged the weekend.
“We’re heading into another busy week with three more games. Our team has shown our depth throughout the season and that won’t be any different this time of year.
“Nottingham have shown their teeth all season long. They will be committed to changing the recent form and I expect them to be a great challenge.
“But if we are able to have a strong showing against the Panthers, we hope to secure fifth, but it won’t be easy.”
