WEEK AHEAD – A blockbuster weekend

The finish line to the regular season gets ever closer and that will be accelerated with not one, not two but THREE games to come in the next seven days.

Two home games are the bread to an away day filling as the ongoing battle for points begins to end.

Time to take a few minutes and see what lies in store this week for Manchester Storm.

Friday 27th March

The Flames are back at the Storm Shelter for the second part of the three-game end of season trilogy and they’ll be looking to get the points back from Saturday.

It was a successful night for Manchester as Storm really were ‘in the pink’ with a 4-1 win over Guildford, but it’s a new day and a new game.

It’s quite the test to begin what will be a pretty hectic weekend and one we hope you’ll join us for.

Tickets are going fast for this one, so make sure you’re here to be part of the Storm atmosphere.

Manchester Storm are two home league goals away from scoring 900 since joining the Elite League in 2015.

Saturday 28th March

Cardiff Devils vs Manchester Storm (Vindico Arena, Face off 7:00pm)

WEBCAST

Saturday night sees a quick trip down the road to South Wales and a final regular season encounter against the Devils, but it may not be the last we see of Paul Thompson’s side.

The way the standings are, there’s every chance there could be a two-legged quarter final date between the teams to come and if that’s the case, this is an ideal chance to get a good look at them.

Previous meetings have tended to carry a slight edge so it’s going to be quite the night as Storm look to take precious road points from a team still looking up in the table.

DID YOU KNOW?

Manchester Storm defeated Cardiff Devils four times last season – the most times Storm have been the Devils in a single campaign.

Sunday 29th March

Manchester Storm vs Belfast Giants (The Storm Shelter, Face off 5:30pm)

TICKETS

WEBCAST

A lot might have happened by the time we get to this game.  Opponents Belfast Giants might already be confirmed as champions if results go their way or this could be the night they could do it.

Cameron Critchlow might have something to say about that by the time this rescheduled fixture against the Giants comes around.

It’s quite the way to end the week and one to look out for, with tickets already down to single figures so don’t leave it too late.

PLEASE NOTE: This game was originally scheduled for Friday 5th December and was postponed at the time.  Original tickets from this date apply but all fans will also have been sent emails directly from Planet Ice with tickets showing 29th March. Fans must use these tickets.

DID YOU KNOW?

Brandon Cutler is Manchester’s top scorer against Belfast Giants in meetings this season, picking up six points (two goals and four assists) against them.  Gary Haden, Dante Hannoun and Nick Welsh have also scored two goals each against the Giants.
