The next weekend of Elite League action sees a special night coming your way as we look ahead to our Pride game this Sunday, as we celebrate the message that hockey is, indeed, for everyone.

Before that, it’s off to another tricky venue as four more points are up for grabs in what will be another action-packed weekend.

Saturday 24th January

Sheffield Steelers vs Manchester Storm (Utilita Arena, Face off 7:00pm)

It’s the start of another big weekend as Manchester head to the venue where a popular Saturday night TV show his filmed – and Storm will want a gladiatorial performance.

Storm won home and away against Aaron Fox’s side either side of New Year and would love to skate away with more points from the Utilita Arena again.

They face a Steelers team fresh from two big losses in Belfast and one victory in their last five outings.  Storm will need to be at their best to overcome a wounded Sheffield.

Stephen Johnson’s two assists against Glasgow Clan on Friday took were his 100th and 101st in Storm colours since joining the club in 2022.

 

Sunday 25th January

Manchester Storm vs Belfast Giants (The Storm Shelter, Face off 5:30pm)

We’re showing our support for the LGBTQ+ community on Sunday with our Pride game, one of the big events in the Elite League calendar.

Coming to the Storm Shelter will be Belfast Giants and as well as sharing the message of inclusivity, both teams will also be sharing the ice for EIHL points.

Tickets are going really well at the time of writing, with less than 600 seats left so make sure you get yours while you can and be part of a special night at the Storm Shelter.

Storm’s shootout loss in Cardiff on Saturday was the 12th time Manchester have gone beyond regulation time this season, winning five in overtime and three in shootout.  Saturday’s loss was the first to penalty shots.
