Canadian Forward Harrison Caines Re-Signs with Manchester Storm

Manchester Storm are delighted to confirm the return of import forward Harrison Caines for the 2025–26 season.

Caines, who featured for the Storm last season, showed his ability to play across all three forward positions—a versatility that will undoubtedly prove valuable throughout the course of a full EIHL campaign.

The Canadian forward boasts a strong junior career, having made 126 major appearances for the North Bay Battalion (OHL) and Chicoutimi Saguenéens (QMJHL) prior to his move to university hockey in 2021.

Over 94 USports appearances, Caines registered an impressive 81 points (32G, 49A). His final university campaign saw him post 15 goals and 20 assists in just 28 games—form that earned him a place on the USports Second All-Star Team.

Now entering his second professional season, Caines is eager to build on the promise he showed last year. Having had his campaign disrupted by injury, the speedy forward is determined to return fully fit and make a consistent impact across the league.

Head Coach Cam Critchlow had this to say on the returning Caines:

“We’re really pleased to have Harrison back for the upcoming season. Despite battling through some injuries last year, he showed flashes of the player we know he can be—fast, intelligent, and relentless on the forecheck. He’s worked hard this off-season to come in fully fit, and we’re confident he’ll take a big step forward in 2025–26. He’s got the character we want in the locker room and the versatility that helps us in so many situations.”
