6’6” British Standout Rais Francis Signs with Manchester Storm
Manchester Storm are thrilled to announce the addition of highly sought-after British forward Rais Francis, most recently of Salem State University (NCAA III).
Francis stands at 6’6″ and is known for his physical but disciplined approach to the game. The versatile forward brings energy, speed, and offensive upside to the roster, having developed his game through a strong collegiate program in the United States.
During his time at Salem State, Francis made a name for himself with his relentless work ethic and two-way play. Across his collegiate career, he featured in 62 games, contributing 32 points (13G, 19A) while playing a key role at both ends of the ice.
Originally from Nottingham, Francis honed his skills with the Ontario Hockey Academy, earning a reputation as a dynamic player with a strong hockey IQ and a team-first mentality.
Head Coach Cam Critchlow stated:
“Rais is a player who brings a lot of upside and potential. His time in the NCAA has prepared him well for the professional level, and we’re excited to see a young, talented British player like Rais contribute on and off the ice. We are lucky to have him in a Storm jersey this season. He’s hungry, coachable, and ready to make an impact.”
