Kyle’s Locked In for the 25/26 Season
Manchester Storm are delighted to announce the signing of defenseman Kyle Locke, most recently of the Guildford Flames.
The 29-year-old brings a strong physical presence and valuable experience to the Storm’s defensive unit. With several seasons in the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) under his belt, Locke’s knowledge of the league and consistent performance on the blueline will be a major asset inside the Storm Shelter.
During his four seasons with Guildford, Locke made 166 appearances and recorded 40 points (10 goals, 30 assists). A dependable figure on the Flames’ blueline, he was known for his reliability, work ethic, and leadership qualities on and off the ice.
Before turning professional, the Canadian spent four years at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (USports), where he balanced academics and athletics. While representing the Ridgebacks, he played in 95 games and developed a solid all-around game that translated well to the professional level.
Head Coach Cam Critchlow commented:
“Kyle is a player we’ve admired for some time. His experience in this league, combined with his physical style and leadership, makes him a perfect fit for our group. We’re excited to welcome him to Manchester.”
